We have had to deal with pressure and expectations throughout our lives. And I know for me, that's something that I've had to do. I've always laid a lot of pressure and expectations on myself that have led to mental health challenges like depression, worry, and anxiety. But I’ve had to come to recognize that seeking help isn’t weak. It’s wise.
These days, there’s so much division in our world. We need to find a way to foster relationships that don’t suck. We’re starting here, with the relationship between men and women.
Our mission to go and make disciples of all the nations (Matt 28:18-20) finds its roots in the original mission to go and be a blessing to others (Gen 12:1-3). This means that blessing others and seeing people come to know, love, and serve Jesus are linked together!
If you do at least one of these BLESS practices every day, you will not only look more like Jesus, but you will help others find Jesus too!
It’s surprisingly easy to feel alone, even somewhere like the church, where you’d expect to simply find a place to belong. There are three main things that we all need to do to find our place at church, or anywhere else!
